It's going to be a crazzzzy holiday season this year!

Ben, Lilli, and I are happy to announce that we are going to get a wonderful Christmas present this year. We are going to have another baby! It looks like Baby Earle is going to arrive December 27th...so much for a restful holiday season!! We are thrilled to be expecting again!

This will be the last addition to our family, so we have decided to be surprised this time around. We are not going to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl. Ben really thinks it is a boy. I dont really have a gut feeling but I have been very sick with this baby too....so I am not so sure it isnt another girl. I guess we will find out in 6 months!!

Thanks for all of the love, prayers, and support!

Catching Up

Good morning. It has been a long time since I posted anything, sorry about that! Spring is in high gear at the Earle house. Lilli is loving playing outside and wearing sandals instead of boots. I swear she is growing as fast as the grass.

We had two birthday parties this past weekend. She loved playing with the kids but I think she enjoyed the cake the most!

We just listed our house for sale over the weekend. I am really wanting to stay home for the next couple of years, and Ben would really like to have more land. So....we will see where this journey takes us. We are excited for a new chapter in our lives but a little scared since we dont know where we are going to move. But...we have to sell it first!

We are looking forward to my Great Grandma Shively's 90th birthday party this weekend. It will be great to see all of my family that we dont get to see very often.

Life is good in the Earle house! We hope you are all well too!

Easter Fun

Here are some photos from our fun holiday weekend. Lilli got to go to three egg hunts. She had was a very good egg hunter! She had to carry two baskets for her last egg hunt at Grandma Carol's.

Lilli was thrilled with her crazy coupe that the Easter Bunny left her. I think she is going to enjoy riding it outside. Right now she is really enjoying daddy pushing her in it!

Update from the specialist visit

Well...the appointment at the reoccurring miscarriage specialist did not go as well as we had hoped.

We found out that I do NOT have a thyroid problem. You might wonder why this isn't great news?!?! Well, when the nurse told me 'one of your counts is high,' I felt an instant sense of relief. At least this was an answer. Now...the doctor said that my thyroid isn't bad...I don't have an auto-immune disease...my hormone levels are right where they are supposed to be. So, now we are back at square one. We don't have any more answers, than we had at the beginning of all of this. The doctor is suggesting that we do a couple of more tests but we have decided against it. Both of the tests are fairly invasive and we just don't want to go to that extreme anymore. I guess this is just one more question I have on my list to talk to God about when I meet him!

On a brighter note, Lilli had a wonderful play date with Kyle Huhnke this weekend. Ben helped Brandon and Lindsay move some stuff this weekend so the kids got to play. This was Lilli's first play date with a boy. She was in usual Lilli form...dominating the entire date. I don't think Kyle knew what to think of her. They both had fun and Lilli sleep well that night!

We have a busy couple of weeks coming up. We are looking forward to all of the Easter celebrations!!

University of Chicago

Also...I forgot to post that my 'big' appointment is this Thursday at the University of Chicago. We go to see Dr. Stephenson again. It looks like these miscarriage problems may be caused by my thyroid. We are hoping and praying that she can give us some answers and some treatment options! Please pray with us about this!

My first blog

Good morning! I hope this blog finds all of you doing well.

This has been a very busy couple of weeks at our house.

Ben took me to La Romana in the Dominican Republic for my 30th birthday. We stayed at a 'Dreams' resort. It was so much nicer than Sandal's. The resort was very nice and clean. The pools and the food were fantastic. And the ocean/beach were breath taking. We can not say enough good things about the vacation. It was so restful and stress free. We did miss Lilli very much though!!! But we knew she was in good hands with her grandparents.

Lilli learned the words "Grandma, Grandpa, Cocka-doodle-do (comes out more like Cocckaaadooo), and Burp (thanks Grandpa) while she was with my parents. She had a fantastic time with Grandma Bobbi and Grandpa Bob!

We got back on Sunday night and found out on Tuesday that my cousin, Starli, was very ill. To make a long story short, she had not been her self for probably 5 or 6 years. But we all just chalked it up to being depressed since her father had passed. It turns out that she was slowly dying from a disease called Addison's disease. By the time it was diagnosed it was too late. We buried Starli on Sunday afternoon. I was blessed to be able to speak at Starli's funeral. It was sooo hard to get up and speak when I had so many emotions running thru me but I knew it was the right thing to do. Starli will be terribly missed! But I am conforted to know that she is back with her Daddy in Heaven!

Needless to say, we are looking forward to life slowing down a bit. We are ready for SPRING!!! Lilli is ready to play outside.
